Legal and Recovery Division

(LeRD)

The Legal and Recovery Division at Samoa Business Hub is dedicated to protecting the integrity of the
Business Loan Guarantee Scheme (BLGS). This division ensures that SBH's security, legal, and recovery
processes are properly monitored and executed, working closely with banks and other SBH units to
develop and implement joint action plans for rehabilitating clients who are critically in arrears. The
division is also responsible for the effective and efficient recovery of foreclosed accounts under the
scheme and undertakes necessary legal proceedings on behalf of SBH to enforce the terms and
conditions of the BLGS.

Our Objective

– To keep the risks to the guarantee at a minimum
– To rehabilitate clients through the rehabilitation program
– To implement credit risks management and debt recovery procedures.
– To have a team oriented & open-minded unit through leadership and individual acceptance of delegated responsibilities.
– To have a professional relationship with our business alliances.
